A modern quilt that I made as a sample for class I am teaching on intermediate modern quilting at Owl and Drum

Here are some photos and a link to a video of a wonderful quilt I made from start to finish or the intermediate modern quilting class that I teach at a wonderful local Tulsa quilt store called Owl and Drum.

In this first photo above I am piecing the quilt.

Here is a link to my YouTube page where I am doing the long arm quilting on this top after I completed it.
If you go to the settings on the video and set it for HD 720 It will be a lot clearer picture. And you really see the thread detail as I'm quilting it down.

In this photo above is the completed quilt. This quilt is from Tula Pink's book. "100 Modern Quilt Blocks". This was inspired by the gridlock pattern in the book.

These next photos are close-ups of the blocks and my quilting.

This next set of photos is the back of the quilt.

I will be teaching this intermediate quilting class at Owl and Drum, Tulsa, OK in four weeks, two hour sessions throughout the year with the first class starting on March 15, 2014 at 11 AM. Contact Owl and Drum for more information and to get signed up for this class if you'd like and check out this awesome store from which all of the fabric used in this quilt came from. Here is a link to their store information,
